The Primary Years Programme (PYP) exhibition is a culminating event for the Programme in International Baccalaureate (IB) schools worldwide. The International School of Tianjin is the only accredited International Baccalaureate World School within Tianjin. The exhibition takes place in the final grade level prior to the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and is considered one of the six units of inquiry. Students engage in a collaborative trans-disciplinary inquiry process that involves them investigating and offering solutions to real-life issues or problems in both the local and wider communities. The exhibition also allows the Grade 5 students to share their understanding of what it means to be a PYP student within the international community of Tianjin.
Students from the International School of Tianjin have completed in depth investigations and written essays focusing on the United Nations Millennium Goals. The Exhibition will open on Wednesday 8 May with a community opening evening. If you would like to attend or require further information please contact Matt Kimber, Emily Van Dykhuizen or Sara Bjork.
